The musks in the bottom notes tame down the florals in this, even though the mid-notes are florals and the top notes are fruity... it's not a fruity scent nor would I call it a floral scent. The base notes of Pacific Musk, African Musk, and Moss accord really ground this one. It's so unique. Truly reminding me of any garden I've played in as a child in So Cal where there were a ton of flowers but also a ton of fruits ripe to eat.
Something about this fragrance makes it feel exclusive when I wear it. The dry-down is different than the initial spritz. By itself is pretty ****, however, it blends very will with IF and California depending on which way you want it to go... more floral or more citrus....
Even though there's the vanilla absolute, white musk, and patchouli musk at the end, they are blended so perfectly well they turn into a new scent. Genius chemistry.
