Fell in love with this scent years ago and it is still my favorite! Several girlfriends and I went for a spa day together and we all like If so much that we each bought some at a spa gift shop. We all still wear it after all these years. The scent is light and feminine and while it lingers gently it is subtle and never overpowering. I love the scent of neroli, jasmine, gardenia and this parfum combines these decadent florals with a bit of citrus and something beachy that I cannot define.

First off, i love that my order included a sample spray. It is a great idea as a way to be absolutely sure about the scent prior to actually opening the perfume package.

I am very happy with Velvet Rope. The initial scent of licorice is rather strong at first. But the dry down is really nice. I have never considered myself drawn to vanilla fragrance but notes in this blend work really nice together. I find this to he a unique scent. I have been a Fragrance fanatic since my teens so i have smelled a lot of scents along the way. SO many scents are just copy cats of each other so when I say the fragrance is unique- that is saying something!!
